One Tottenham Hotspur man is expected to receive a frosty reception if he takes the field this evening against Eintracht Frankfurt.
As Spurs head to Frankfurt looking to seal direct qualification to the round of 16 stage of the Champions League, there is still a cloud over the futures of several of their players.
One of them is Randal Kolo Muani, who is thought to be considering cutting short his loan spell at Tottenham after struggling in North London over the last few months.
It has emerged over recent days that Juventus have contacted Kolo Muani about returning to the club on loan, but the striker may first have something else to worry about.

Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani is expected to get a hostile reception at Frankfurt
It has now been revealed by BILD that the Spurs forward is not expected to be received well on his return to Deutsche Bank Park.
Kolo Muani spent one season at Frankfurt before making a €95m (£82.5m) move to PSG in 2023, but the transfer happened under controversial circumstances.
The move occurred at the last minute, leaving the Bundesliga side without a replacement. However, the Frenchman was not concerned and forced his way out of the club by going on strike.
This has not been forgotten by Frankfurt fans, with the report predicting that the 27-year-old will receive a ‘barrage of boos’ from the stands this evening.
Kolo Muani may not start for Spurs
Dominic Solanke was rested for Tottenham’s trip to Turf Moor, and the England international is expected to come back into the starting eleven against Frankfurt.
However, with the England international still not at 100 per cent yet, one would not expect him to last 90 minutes, which makes it likely that Kolo Muani would be introduced in the latter stages of the game.
Frankfurt winger Ansgar Knauff, who played for the club alongside Kolo Muani, is convinced that the Tottenham man will not receive a warm welcome.
Knauff told BILD about his former teammate’s return: “I’m curious to see how it goes. I’m looking forward to seeing him again. We did play together, after all. So much happened surrounding his exit back then, he won’t receive such a warm welcome from the fans now.”
