Why Tottenham desperately need a win away to Everton

Tottenham Hotspur face a tricky away trip to Everton today, facing a very up and down Premier League side.

Spurs themselves are anything but, securing win after win in the Prem, Champions League, and League Cup.

Tottenham now sit third in the Premier League and recent reached the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, as well as the knockouts of the Champions League.

So, why would there be so much pressure on getting a win in this specific match?

Unfortunately, the mainstream media seems to be convinced that Pochettino is on his way to Man United, despite no indication from Spurs or the man himself.

This means that any drop in form over the next game or two will undoubtedly see headline after headline about Poch being unsettled, or the players being nervous about his future.

The best thing for the Argentine, the squad, and the fans would be to ignore the media pressure, get a couple more wins on the board, and blow these silly rumours away.

After all, why would Poch want to move to United if Spurs continue to perform so far above them?

  1. So, why doesn’t MoPo just come out and say that he NOT interested in going to Manure?

As a Spurs supporter since the mid 1950s, I don’t want to lose MoPo BUT IF he really wants to stay…why doesn’t he just come out and state that?
