‘Will be strong’ – Mourinho talks team selection against Dinamo Zagreb

Tottenham Hotspur are back in action this midweek as they welcome Croatian giants, Dinamo Zagreb, to North London in the Europa League.

This is the first of two legs in the tie, with the winner booking their place in the quarter-finals of the competition this season.

Spurs come into the game off the back of an impressive 4-1 victory at home to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.

Harry Kane and Gareth Bale both netted braces in the game as they strengthened Tottenham’s last-ditch charge towards the Champions League places.

Meanwhile, Zagreb are currently top of the Croatian league table with a game in hand and have won five out of their last five league matches.

Talking about his team selection for the Thursday night clash, Mourinho claimed that he would be making changes from the Crystal Palace XI but assured fans that the team to face the Croatians would be strong.

He said (Football London): “We won’t play with the same team that beat Palace but any team we put out will be strong.”
