Will Spurs turn to this man in Kane’s absence

Tottenham Hotspur found out today that Harry Kane will be ruled out until early March with an ankle injury (BBC).

Kane is no stranger to ankle problems, as he has consistently spent time on the side lines with them throughout his senior career.

The injury could not come at a worse time either, with Heung Min Son away on international duty with South Korea in the Asia Cup.

Lucas Moura is also still suffering from a knock of his own, an it remains to be seen whether he will feature against Fulham this weekend.

Spurs may now be forced to turn to Fernando Llorente as their main source of goals, a player who had been tipped to leave the club this month.

Llorente is the only fit senior forward currently at the club, but has barely started a Premier league game in his entire Tottenham career.

Once fit, Pochettino may have to lump with a Lucas Moura, Fernando Llorente partnership and just hope they miraculously click.
