Lifelong Manchester United fan Eric the postman (Steve Evets) is slipping through his own fingers…His wife has gone, his stepsons (including Shameless’ Gerard Kearns) are out of control and in with the local mob stashing drugs and guns under the floorboards. Life is crazy enough, but it’s Eric’s own problem that’s driving him to the brink. How can he face up to Lily (Stephanie Bishop), the woman of his dreams that he once loved and walked out on many years ago? Despite the comical efforts of his mates (comedian and Royale Family’s John Henshaw and Phoenix Nights Justin Moorehouse), Eric continues to sink.

In desperate times it takes a spliff and a special friend to help a lost postman find his way, so Eric turns to his hero: footballing genius, philosopher and legendary poster boy, Eric Cantona. The man who inspired so many millions with his awesome skills on the pitch is back to inspire this down at heel postman and viewers all over again.

Looking For Eric is released on Blu-Ray and DVD, 12 October by Icon Home Entertainment.
