“Winning it all” – Some Spurs fans react to the Europa League draw

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to react to this afternoon’s Europa League group stage draw.

Spurs, who are twice winners of the competition while it was in the former UEFA Cup format were drawn in Group J withthe geographical distance of the sides having been relatively kind.

The North Londoners will face:

PFC Ludogorets of Bulgaria
LASK of Austria
Royal Antwerp of Belgium

Jose Mourinho’s side had already come through a gruelling qualification period which saw them having to face Lokomotiv Plovdiv of Bulgaria, KF Shkendija of North Macedonia and Israeli outfit Maccabi Haifa to book their place in today’s draw.

UEFA had implemented seedings and country protection, which meant that Spurs had no opportunity to be within the same group as Leicester City or Arsenal.
