Workers reveal October opening date

Tottenham Hotspur have been plagued with delays this summer, as their 62,000 seat stadium still remains unfinished.

The brand-new state of the art ground was originally supposed to be opened on September 15 against Liverpool in the Premier League.

One month on and there has still been no announcement as to an exact finishing date, although Pochettino did let slip it should be completed before the end of the year.

The turf was laid last week, and the goal posts have been erected as the stadium site inches closer to completion.

However, one opening date has been revealed by Football London, as they report workers in the new Spurs Megastore told them when the shop would be opening.

Apparently the club hope to open the shop to the public by the end of this month, as they clearly want it up and running by the time the first match day rolls around.
