Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this evening’s match against Wolfsberger.
Spurs have lost five of their past six games in all competitions, and have conceded eight in the past two outings.
Jose Mourinho has won each of his past 12 knockout ties in the Uefa Cup/Europa League (all seven in 2002-03 with Porto and all five in 2016-17 with Manchester United) and has not lost an away knockout match in the competition since December 2002, losing 1-0 at Lens with Porto.
Wolfsberger finished second in Group K during the autumn, losing twice to section winners Dinamo Zagreb but took ten points off former UEFA Cup winners Feyenoord and CSKA Moskva.
There is no sign of Harry Kane in the squad, while there are starts for Gareth Bale and Dele Alli with Carlos Vinicius having to make do with a place on the bench.
This is what some of the North London faithful have had to say about the line up:
I know its Wolfsberger but I'm still worried about that defence.

Does anyone else just feel like José is alienating Vini so that Levy doesn't buy him?

That is actually the worst lineup we could’ve possibly produced

I’m fine with Kane missing this one. This team is clearly not close to being our strongest, but it should be more than enough here. Finish them tonight, please – and Bale and Dele do something! #UEL #WOLTOT #THFC #COYS

Would've gone for Vini over Son

We are playing too many big players. I know there is still lots of players getting a rest and nice to see some players like Bale, Winks and Sissoko that do not normally play in PL but why put Son and Alderwield on when they could use the rest???
