Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been taking to social media to share their reaction to reports linking the club with a move for Yves Bissouma.
The Sunday Mirror (29/8; page 66) have claimed that Spurs are keen to land the Brighton midfielder ahead of the transfer window closure on Tuesday.
The report suggests that Moussa Sissoko’s departure to Watford has freed up some space and Spurs want Bissouma to be the player that replaces him as Nuno Espirito Santo is an admirer of the midfielder.
However, it is said the Seagulls have set the 24-year-old’s price tag at £40m, which is understandable given his performances in the Premier League for Graham Potter’s side.
The midfielder is one game away from making 100 appearances in all competitions for Brighton, with his performances now reportedly earning him interest from Spurs.

Bissouma is a brilliant player. Every time you watch a Brighton game, with all due respect, the midfielder stands out like a sore thumb.
He would be a sound signing, especially given the void that Sissoko’s departure and Ndombele’s no-show has left but it is very late in the window. So a deal will be hard to pull off.
