Thomas Tuchel has admitted his admiration for Harry Kane amidst rumours linking the Tottenham star with a move to Chelsea.
In his interview with Gary Neville last week, Kane admitted that a move abroad is not something that interests him at this stage of his career.
The British press have thus suggested that Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are the three most likely destinations for the 27-year-old this summer.
While some sources have installed City as the front-runners for the Golden Boot winner, a move across London to Stamford Bridge has also been mooted as a possibility.
According to ESPN, Chelsea have contacted Kane’s representatives over a move and are ready to use the likes of Tammy Abraham, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Callum Hudson-Odoi as makeweights to get their man.
Tuchel has not hidden his admiration for the England striker but refused to speak about the Blues’ rumoured interest, pointing out that he is contracted to Spurs.
When asked about Kane, the Chelsea boss told The Mirror: “If you find any coach around the world who would not like to have Harry Kane in his team, call me.
“I would like to speak with the guy and hear about his ideas of scoring and attacking.
“Everybody loves Harry Kane but let’s be very, very clear. He is a player for Tottenham.
“He has a long term contract and we will not get involved in any press conference with any disrespectful comments about that.”
