Yaya Toure explains why he ranks Harry Kane higher than Thierry Henry

Yaya Toure has ranked Harry Kane above Thierry Henry when playing ‘This or That’ with former Premier League goalkeeper, Ben Foster

Toure is currently working on the coaching team on the Lilywhite side of North London so has newfound loyalty to Tottenham Hotspur, but this one is sure to annoy some fans on the red side of the fierce rivalry.

Despite Thierry Henry being widely considered one of the best, if not the best, to ever grace the Premier League, Toure made an argument to put Harry Kane above the Arsenal legend.

Harry Kane has started the 2022/23 season on fire, with 10 Premier League goals and one assist in 12 matches, as well as two goal contributions in the Champions League (TransferMarkt).

Kane is now third in the all-time Premier League scoring charts, with 193 goals in 294 games, while Henry is seventh with 175 in 258 games.

When the question was put to him, Toure said: “Wow! That is unbelievable! I love both of them, but I think Harry Kane as well. But Thierry… what a legend! What a legend, Thierry Henry.

“Jeez. This is a difficult one. I’ll give the credit to Harry Kane now. He’s doing really well. I think the World Cup, you have to set up for him up there to make sure England wins.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

Yaya is showing some good old loyalty to Tottenham here, and we love that. I think even most Spurs fans would admit that Henry is perhaps the best Premier League player of all-time, but Harry Kane is certainly making a case for himself… if only he could get his hands on the trophy.
