Tottenham Hotspur head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, has claimed you can never think the transfer window is closed until it actually slams shut.
This came after the former Wolves boss was asked whether he now had enough defensive reinforcements in North London after the acquisition of Cristian Romero.
The Lilywhites signed the Argentine defender from Atalanta for around £42.5m this week as they look ahead to their opening day fixture against Man City on Sunday.
Nuno seemed to hint that there could be more transfers on the table, or at the very least he didn’t rule out the possibility of new faces.
Tottenham have already signed Pierluigi Gollini, Bryan Gil and Romero, while the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela, Juan Foyth, Joe Hart, Danny Rose, and Paulo Gazzaniga have all left N17 this summer.
🗣"You cannot think that it's closed."

Spurs Web Opinion:
I fully expect there to be at least two or three more signings coming out of Tottenham in the next few weeks, as well as a number of sales. The rebuild is well underway but it is far from being complete this summer.
