Tottenham and Fiorentina are heading the queue to sign highly rated goalkeeper, Joel Robles.

The teenage stopper has slipped down the pecking order at Atletico Madrid and his contract is up at the end of the season, allowing him to talk to clubs as of January.

Carlo Cudicini’s contract is up at the end of the season as well, and talks are yet to be opened with the Italian, so Robles could be brought in as cover for Huerelho Gomes next season.

Robles has been out of favour, following the purchase of Sergio Asenjo, whilst David De Gea’s rise to prominence has added to the uncertainty of Robles future at the club.

Gines Carvajal, Robles agent, said, “It’s too early to see what will happen at the end of the season,” and it’s expected that he will wait until then to decide on his future.

Sevilla have also been credited with an interest in the 19 year-old, who has been described as having “a bright future” in the game.
