Spurs midfielder will likely go out on loan next season claims journalist

It has hardly been a dream season for young Jack Clarke since his move to Tottenham in the 2019 summer transfer window.

The teenage winger shone during the 2018/19 campaign with Leeds United as he broke through the academy ranks to earn 25 senior appearances.

Once Spurs secured the signing for around £10m, they loaned the talent straight back to Leeds in order to continue his development and consistent game time (BBC).

However, Clarke was only ever given one Championship appearance in the first half of the season at his boyhood club before being recalled by Spurs (Wikipedia).

The Lilywhites then shifted him out on another loan move, this time to Queens Park Rangers. However, the youngster only made five appearances for the club before the COVID-19 suspension commenced.

Alasdair Gold has now claimed that Tottenham will likely send the winger out on yet another loan mission next season in search of game time and development.

He said (Football London): ‘Further up the pitch in the attacking midfielder and wide positions, Tottenham are now well-stocked, perhaps overstocked.

‘Jack Clarke will return from his time at QPR and be assessed but is likely to head back out again on loan.’

Clarke will be hoping for a far more successful time of it in 2020.
