Young Tottenham star called up to international squad again

Tottenham Hotspur’s Juan Foyth has been called up to the Argentina national squad again this week, as they look ahead to games against Morocco and Venezuela this month (Football London).

The 21-year-old has been used far more regularly by his club this season, with his fellow countryman Mauricio Pochettino placing more and more trust in him.

He has made 11 appearances in all competitions so far this season, far more than he managed through the last campaign.

Despite the odd shaky moment that you would expect from a centre back so young, Foyth has largely been impressive this season.

His stand out performances would have to be in the first leg of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, and in the 3-1 win at home to Chelsea.

However, there have been a number of other great games from the youngster, and it only seems fair that his country are recognising his talent and potential.
