‘Your flick has cost us that goal’ – Pundit reveals Mourinho was angry at Spurs man tonight

Tottenham Hotspur qualified for the final four of the Carabao Cup this evening by defeating Stoke City 3-1 away from home.

The Lilywhites looked a little shaken at one stage in the second half when Stoke equalised, but eventually asserted their dominance to cruise into the semi-finals.

Dele Alli was handed a rare start by Jose Mourinho alongside the likes of Harry Kane, Lucas Moura, and Gareth Bale in attack.

The Spurs man started the game well, beating his markers for fun only to be brought down cynically again and again. Dele even managed to get into a few goalscoring positions himself, with the only thing missing being the final shot.

Unfortunately for Alli, it appears that one moment of madness may cost him a good performance in the eyes of Jose Mourinho, with the Spurs head coach reportedly being angry at the midfielder.

Clinton Morrison revealed to BBC 5 Live Sport that Mourinho shouted ‘your flick has cost us that goal’ when Spurs conceded following a silly piece of skill from Alli.
