Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha has rejected a new contract at Crystal Palace and hopes that Tottenham Hotspur will pursue their interest in him.

An article in The Times claims the 25-year-old flyer and his representative have been concerned by Roy Hodgson, the Palace manager, publicly admitting that there is little money to spend on players and that the team’s aim this season is simply survival.

Zaha, who is also attracting interest from Everton, was offered a deal worth about £120,000 a week, which would make him the club’s joint-top earner with Christian Benteke.

However Tottenham and Crystal Palace are miles apart on Zaha’s reported £70 million valuation but the article goes on to claim that Moussa Sissoko, who is among several unwanted players at Spurs, could be used as a makeweight in any deal.

Zaha has long been linked with a switch to Spurs but represents a massive risk considering he flopped at Manchester United. Would you like to see Zaha at Spurs? Let us know your thoughts below

  1. At first when Spurs showed an interest I said no fecking way when I heard he failed at Man Utd I said no fecking way when I watched him for a while at first I said no fecking way when I seen a bit of an attitude to his fellow team mates for not playing the ball to him more than any other players I said no fecking way when I seen him big headed to-wards his team mates I said no fecking way , then he got injured was out for quite a while when he returned I seen a different Zaha a much improved Zaha a better attitude Zaha going pass players like he never did as well before , now on this improvement I don`t know who it is down to I certainly would not put it down to Roy Hodgson who I think Is a total Wally and always talks a good fight , I say go for him MP he wants to come to Spurs and getting rid of Sissoko the worst buy in our history would be ideal , now get Bill Gates to buy out those money grabbers Louis & Levy and we can buy anybody .

  2. Wanted him last year but he decided to sign an extension with Crystal Palace. He’s made his bed, he can lie in it. Move on, he had his chance.

  3. Be a good addition but Wilmar Barrios would a much better signing. Needed a player like him for a long time to take control and put some steel in midfield.

  4. zaha would be a much better buy than malcolm and would give us very interesting attacking options especially in august and sept. when we can expect below par performances from our world cup players
