Fazio signed for Spurs in 2014 from Sevilla for a fee of around £8m.

He had just won the Europa League with his previous club, and played a big part in the campaign as a brick wall in the centre of their defence.

However, the wall seemed to crumble in North London, as Fazio was famed for his severe lack of pace, clumsy challenges, and red card tackles.

He was eventually loaned back to Sevilla, where he won the Europa League again, before Roma bought him after a loan period of their own.

In his time at Tottenham, Fazio managed 32 appearances, but few were memorable for the right reasons.

Not every signing comes to fruition in the Premier League, and Spurs fans are certainly used to the odd flop in North London.

We take a look at seven of the biggest flops who have had to endure in the Mauricio Pochettino era.
