Five players Tottenham should sell in January

The January transfer window is now upon us and it wouldn’t be Tottenham Hotspur unless there was a busy transfer window planned.

Mauricio Pochettino has been at the helm in the Tottenham Hotspur hot seat since late May and one would hope by now he has a fair idea of what players need to be shipped out of White Hart Lane.

The recently-recruited Paul Mitchell will be checking his stats for the latest starlets to bring to the club while Franco Baldini will be doing, erm… does anyone know what he does?
We’ve identified the top five Spurs players who should be sold in the January 2015 transfer window.

I’m sure we all remember the hype and excitement when we signed the Brazilian midfielder from Corinthians in July 2013 for a fee just shy of £17million.

Paulinho had caught the eye at the Confederations Cup since some impressive displays, but has failed to set the world alight in a Tottenham jersey.

The 26-year-old has managed 45 Premier League appearances since his switch and has found himself limited to a place on the bench under Pochettino. It’s wise we move him on and try and claw back some of that transfer fee.
