From the thrills of last Wednesday against Man City to the frustratingly dull affair that was the Brighton match.

It always looked as if it would be one of those that Spurs would romp if they grabbed an early goal, but struggle if they didn’t.

With Brighton fighting for Premier League survival and Spurs fighting for a top four finish, it really was defence against attack for 90 minutes.

Those were three valuable points for Tottenham, especially after Man United, Arsenal, and Chelsea all dropped points this week. Spurs are now three points clear of the Blues, four clear of the Gunners, and six clear of United. A good sign with three games left to play for Tottenham.
