It’s fair to say that Tottenham fans have endured a difficult season so far.
The end of the Mauricio Pochettino era was heart-breaking, and Jose Mourinho’s tenure has been turbulent, to say the least. However, despite this rocky season, one positive is that Spurs fans have seen their team score some incredible goals.
With the Premier League season currently on hold, here are our top five goals of Tottenham’s campaign to date.
5) Tanguy Ndombele vs Aston Villa 10-08-19

After a year without making a single signing, Tottenham fans were understandably excited about Tanguy Ndombele’s Premier League debut against Aston Villa. The midfield playmaker was one of the most in-demand players in Europe showed flashes of brilliance on his debut.
After a relatively quiet first half that saw Tottenham go 1-0 down, the ball came to Ndombele just outside the box and he blasted a powerful shot past Tom Heaton in goal to put Spurs ahead. You’ll struggle to find a cleaner first-time hit than this one and the fact it was a debut goal secured it the number five spot on our list.
4) Dele Alli vs Manchester United 04-12-19

Much like Spurs, Dele Alli has had an inconsistent season. At times he has ghosted through games offering little, but he has provided individual moments of brilliance that have shown what he can do when firing on all cylinders
This goal against Manchester United was one of these moments of brilliance. The ball fell to Alli in the box and he flicked it over his head, turned and slid it past De Gea to give Spurs a foothold back into the game. It was a brilliant reminder of the attacking midfielder’s technical ability and was reminiscent of his wonder-goal against Crystal Palace back in 2015.
3) Kane vs Burnley 07-12-19
25 yards out?

This was Tottenham’s best performance of the season and the only game with multiple entries on this list. Harry Kane opened the scoring with this looping long-range effort that Nick Pope could do nothing about. For most players scoring from 25 yards out would be a career highlight and it is a testament to Kane that he makes goals like this look so easy.
2) Bergwijn vs Man City 02-02-2020

? Golazo ante el Man. City? Steven Bergwijn ilusiona al Tottenham ?

This goal scores so highly for the circumstances in which it happened as well as the actual strike itself. For most of this game, Spurs had been under the cosh and were lucky to not be a couple of goals down. However, a red card to Zinchenko turned the tide of the game and Spurs debutant Bergwijn hit a beautiful volley through a crowded penalty box past Ederson to put Spurs on top.
This was probably the most important goal on our list and helped Spurs secure a vital three points against the league champions, which is one of the reasons it ranks so highly. However, it was also a beautifully hit effort.
1) Son vs Burnley 07-12-19
Is this the Goal of the Season so far? ?

No surprises here on our top pick. It was always going to go to this Son wonder-goal which is in with a great chance of being crowned ‘Premier League Goal of the Season’.
The South Korean maestro picks up the ball on the edge of his own penalty area and dribbles past almost the entire Burnley team before slotting past Tom Heaton in goal. To be fair, he is helped by some atrocious defending. But the pace and dribbling ability shown make this the obvious choice for the top spot.
Spurs Web Opinion
All the goals on this list are great strikes, but the Son goal was completely different from all the others and was the only real choice for the top spot.
Hopefully, we get a new entry onto this list when the season restarts!
