Spurs half time ratings vs Arsenal – An utter disgrace from each player

Tottenham head into the break against Mikel Arteta’s side currently trailing 2-0 after an awful first half performance.

Hugo Lloris: Continues to struggle with the ball at his feet and made amends by saving from Nketiah. He had to deal with Saka’s shot and fumbled it in, the second goal was also one which he watched from distance. 2.

Matt Doherty: Made an important clearance to deny Arsenal a second. 4.

Cristian Romero: Guilty of playing Saka onside for the opener. Got his typical yellow card in the 34th minute and later turned his back on Odegaard’s shot. 4.

Eric Dier: Has done nothing. 4.

Clement Lenglet: Equally poor down the left. 3.

Ryan Sessegnon: Given the nod ahead of Ivan Perisic, was put in two good advanced positions early on and failed to deliver the right ball into the box. Should have done much better in the build up, gave Saka way too much space. Booked just before half time. 2.
Pape Matar Sarr: Has tried his best with some neat passing and got stuck into challenges, but difficult with Arsenal dominating midfield. 4.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: The more senior of the central midfield pair and has had no impact apart from a late cross. 3.

Dejan Kulusevski: Back in the starting eleven. 4.
Heung-min Son: Made a good run but saw his shot saved by Ramsdale, apart from that has had no impact. 4.
Harry Kane: A passenger until first half injury time when his header was saved. 4.
