Spurs half-time ratings vs Fulham – Sloppy in possession

Here’s how we rated the Tottenham Hotspur players following the opening forty-five minutes of action in this evening’s Premier League clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Ange Postecoglou’s side head into the break currently trailing 1-0 as a result of Rodrigo Muniz’s goal just before half time.

Guglielmo Vicario: Had a number of saves to make early on. 6.

Pedro Porro: Has not been able to get in enough attacking areas given how the first half has panned out. Will be annoyed about Robinson’s cross for the goal. 5.

Cristian Romero: Put his body on the line to make a huge block to deny Fulham an opening goal. 7.

Radu Dragusin: Making his full debut in place of the injured Micky van de Ven. Has dealt with things aerially but looked like he should have been closer to Muniz for the goal. 6.

Destiny Udogie: Did well to pull the ball back into the path of Maddison for his chance on goal. The better of the two full-backs. 6.

Pape Matar Sarr: His passing has been sloppy on occasion and it nearly cost them a goal. His pressing, however, has been good. 6.

Yves Bissouma: Still looks to be lacking confidence to drive forward with the ball like he did earlier in the season. Really should be taking control of the midfield. 4.

James Maddison: Fortunate early on when he lost possession which gifted Fulham an effort on goal. Nearly put Spurs ahead on the half hour only for his effort to go inches wide. The hosts have not afforded him much space. 4.

Brennan Johnson: Had a half-decent chance to open his body and finish beyond Leno but his effort was straight at the keeper. Needs to do much better in possession. 4.

Dejan Kulusevski: Has had a battle on his hands up against Robinson and has seen plenty of the ball but not able to threaten. 4.

Heung-min Son: Had Tottenham’s first real chance of the game, he looked in two minds about whether to finish with his side foot or blast it and it ended up over the bar. Apart from that, has been a passenger. 4.
