Spurs half time ratings vs Marseille – Way off the pace

Tottenham head into the break against Igor Tudor’s side currently level at 0-0.

Hugo Lloris: His decision to punch when not under pressure just after the half hour did not go down well with the Spurs fans. Saved well from Guendouzi just before the whistle. 6.

Emerson Royal: Has done well up against Tavares and got Romero out of jail with an important tackle. Still need to do better in the final third. 6.

Cristian Romero: A few of nervy moments early on and was inches away from a booking. 6.

Eric Dier: The best of the three central defenders. 6.

Clement Lenglet: Not as accomplished as his performance against Fulham, a couple of sloppy passes. 5.

Ivan Perisic: Made a key interception on a Marseille counter attack. 6.

Rodrigo Bentancur: A couple of sloppy passes, with most of his play coming facing his own goal. 5.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Finding it difficult on occasions to get time on the ball. 5.

Richarlison: Has tried to hold the ball up to bring others into the game but to little effect. 6.

Heung-min Son: Another disappointing half from the South Korean. Showed a glimpse of his old self when he teed up Kane before half-time. 5.

Harry Kane: Has been forced to drop deep on many occasions. Should have looked to have crossed the ball when released down the right, rather than taking on the shot. His best chance came five minutes before the break but dragged his effort wide. 6.
