Tottenham fans have already begun singing the praises of team pilot Bradley Stevens who purposely took off for Denver while Spurs dud Vlad Chiriches was in the bathroom. When asked about this decision, Stevens stated, “Vlad is a great guy, and its not like I planned for this to happen. We were about to take off when Vlad said he needed to ‘drop a deuce’. While he was in the john, Poch caught my eye. He gave me a cheeky wink and next thing we know, we are 10,000 feet in the air.”

The most puzzling thing about this situation is that Vlad decided not to use the bathroom in the plane, but instead exited the aircraft entirely. It would appear his decisions on the field reflect his decisions in everyday life. When the team landed, Pochettino was repeatedly asked about the whereabouts of his central defender from several reporters. In response, Pochettino said, “Whoops”.

Vlad Chiriches will not be playing against Kaka or Pirlo this week. Instead, he will work hard in training so that he can finally push for that transfer to Chelsea he has earned with his unforgettable performances in a spurs shirt.  It will be sad to see the Romanian leave our beloved club, but some players shine too brightly.

Good luck Vlad, we will miss your red cards.
