The full-time whistle has been blown in the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and it is time for our player ratings.

Tottenham failed to secure a victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium once again when they faced Leeds, with the two sides drawing 1-1.

Mathys Tel‘s wonder goal was cancelled out by a Dominic Calvert-Lewin penalty, leaving Spurs with a two-point lead over West Ham United when they could have opened up a four-point gap with a win.

Let us take a look at how the individual players got on.

Tottenham player ratings vs Leeds United

Antonin Kinsky – The Czech international made a superb save early in the first half to keep the score level at the time. In the second half, he was barely tested by Leeds. However, he was well beaten from the spot. Late on in the game, he managed another wonder save from a Longstaff shot. 8.5.

Pedro Porro The full-back remained a threat for Tottenham going forward as Roberto De Zerbi often required him to play more centrally. He saw plenty of the ball in the first half and created several good chances for Richarlison, who failed to tuck any away. In the second half, his influence on the game was greatly reduced, with those passes becoming few and far between. 5.5.

Kevin Danso He made a crucial clearance following a dangerous Mathys Tel cross across the Spurs defence in the first half. In the second half, though, he did not have much to do defensively as Tottenham mostly kept Leeds quiet until the penalty. However, late in the game, when the game became stretched, Leeds created more and Danso could do nothing to prevent them. 5.

Micky van de Ven He did manage to put in a few tackles and blocks for Spurs in the second half to deny Leeds any clear sight of goal. In the first half, though, he was mostly used to apply pressure when Leeds looked to play out from the back. 5.

Destiny Udogie Udogie often offered width in the first half when Spurs were attacking. He also drifted into central areas when he was not overlapping. However, in the second half, those forward runs were few and far between, with Tottenham looking less dangerous from the left. 4.5.

Joao Palhinha In the first forty-five minutes, he was cleaning things up in front of the back four, winning the ball and putting in tackles. He also came close to scoring in that half, only for his effort to be skied. In the second half he carried on from where he left off, winning the ball and getting tackles in. He was eventually booked. 6.

Rodrigo Bentancur In the first half, the Uruguayan offered Spurs a lot in the middle of the pitch, looking after the ball well and progressing it into the final third. In the second half it was more of the same from him, with Bentancur even offering cover at right-back whenever Porro ventured forward. 6.

Conor Gallagher The Englishman was full of running in the first half and continued to offer the same energy in the second period, dropping deep at times and also joining in attack when needed. No goal contribution this time, though. 6.

Mathys Tel He was by far the best player in the forward line for Tottenham in the first half, where he was direct in his approach and often whipped dangerous balls into the box from out wide. In the second half, it was a mixed performance as he curled in a worldie from outside the box following a Spurs corner, but then soon became the villain by giving away a penalty that was converted by Dominic Calvert-Lewin. 6.5

Richarlison The centre-forward certainly had his struggles in this game. In the first half he struggled to hold up play whenever Tottenham looked to go long. He also failed to convert a Pedro Porro cutback. In the second half it was more of the same, with Richarlison skying a fine opportunity to give Spurs a two-goal lead. He did, however, work hard for the team, closing down the Leeds defenders. 5.

Randal Kolo Muani The wide forward often struggled to get past his man in the first half, despite his more direct approach. In the second half, though, Muani managed to beat his marker and came close to creating Spurs’ second, only for Richarlison to sky his cutback. 5.
