11 huge celebrity Tottenham fans: From Hollywood heavyweights to NFL superstars

Add as preferred source on Google

There are football clubs that have celebrity fans, then there’s Tottenham Hotspur, who seem to attract some of the biggest names on the planet.

Whether it’s Hollywood heavyweights, sports stars, or Grammy-winning musicians, the Spurs have attracted a real collection of famous faces over the years and given the Premier League’s popularity shows no signs of slowing down, who’s to say who might be next?

So, here’s a look at 11 famous Spurs fans that you may, or may not have known, to cheer for the Lilywhites.

1) Adele is Tottenham’s most famous celebrity fan

When you think of celebrity Tottenham fans, you think Adele.

The global megastar has genuine North London roots. She was actually born in Tottenham and has never been shy about where her footballing allegiances lie.

Long before Hello became a global anthem for everyone who had, had their heartbroken – which, indeed, would include many Tottenham fans over the years – Adele’s love for Spurs had already been cemented. She’s been to pretty much every corner of the world, delighting legions of fans since, but she’s never stopped showing her love for Tottenham.

From singing Glory, Glory Tottenham Hotspur, to proudly waving a Lilywhites flag when on tour, it’s very clear she’s one of Spurs’ own.

2) Tom Holland (and Tottenham can claim Zendaya too)

With Spider-Man: Brand New Day in cinemas right now, the man under the mask is very much a supporter of Spurs.

From trying to convince Erling Haaland to join Spurs when attending the Monaco Grand Prix, through to sneaking off while shooting what has proven to be one of the biggest movies of 2026 – The Odyssey – to watch some of Tottenham’s Europa League final triumph, Tom Holland has more than proven his Spurs supporting stripes in recent years.

And while supporting Spurs can’t exactly match the fame, fortune and fun that starring in Marvel movies and being directed by Christopher Nolan can bring, it will have surely given the young Brit a crash course in resilience as he navigates Hollywood and his own growing stardom.

3) Dave Bautista has a strange Spurs connection

The former WWE and Hollywood heavyweight’s origins with Tottenham Hotspur stem back to shooting Guardians of the Galaxy where a member of his make-up team decided he needed a football club. Enter: Spurs.

While he has admitted he didn’t know all that much about football when he started supported them, he’s stuck to his guns and kept following them in the many years since, even after being taunted by Noel Gallagher on Soccer AM in 2019. The Oasis frontman joked, “Well if I knew nothing about football, I’d be a Tottenham supporter.”

4) Kyle Hamilton must love the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Kyle Hamilton is one of the best players in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens and he’s also a genuine fan of Tottenham Hotspur.

In September 2025, Hamilton visited Hotspur Way and opened up about his affection for Spurs. “I was a FIFA addict growing up and I would always play as Spurs with the likes of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Kyle Walker, and Harry Kane – I’d always try to get them on my Ultimate Team! I’m also half-Korean so that naturally worked out as well with Sonny. There are a couple of ties there and so, since I was about 12 or 13, it’s always been Tottenham for me.”

Hamilton actually played for the Ravens at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2023, when the defeated the Titans 24-16. Getting to watch Spurs themselves, however, is a bit more of a struggle with the way the NFL and Premier League seasons run, but the Raven admitted it’s something he really wants to do.

5) Emma Raducanu was pictured in a Spurs shirt

The tennis starlet won hearts and minds through her fairytale US Open triumph back in 2021, and while she’s not exactly a dyed-in-the-wool football fan, she has found herself developing a connection with Tottenham in recent years.

Back in 2022, she was pictured training in a Tottenham shirt in the lead-up to the Stuttgart Open, with ‘RADUCANU 10’ on the back. It all stems from her team, she revealed, who are “big Spurs fans” and have been ‘egging’ her on. While she’s admitted she doesn’t necessarily follow football so much, she added that because of her team she was “feeling some sort connection” with Tottenham.

6) Sir Alan Sugar was even Tottenham chairman

It’s hard to do a list of celebrity Tottenham Hotspur fans and not include Sir Alan Sugar. While nowadays, he’s most known for fronting The Apprentice on the BBC each year, he was once upon a time overseeing all things at Spurs and remains the most famous figure to occupy the top job in N17.

Sugar took over in 1991, with Spurs facing up to serious financial woes, leading them for the next 10 years. His initial investment saw the club overcome those financial struggles, though approaching the club as a ‘business’ instead of a footballing venture did not necessarily endear him to the club’s fans. Spurs won the League Cup in 1999 during Sugar’s tenure, before he stepped inside for ENIC in 2001.

He regularly comments on all things Spurs on social media, claiming after the defeat to Brentford to open the new season, “don’t worry, this is all tactical to lure other teams into believing we are an easy touch. #coys”

7) Jude Law is a Spurs fan through-and-through

Hollywood stars seem to have taken a liking to Tottenham, with Jude Law’s love for the club stretching back a long, long time.

Star of The Talented Mr. Ripley and The Holiday, Law followed the lead of his grandfather, Eric and first started going to watch Tottenham back in 1981, even going as far to say supporting Spurs is ‘undoubtedly’ more stressful than acting on stage. Which many Tottenham fans would surely acknowledge is more than fair as a sentiment.

More than four decades of supporting Tottenham is quite the level of devotion, with Law having been a visitor to the training ground and getting to games when he can in between his busy schedule.

8) Cailee Spaeny in new generation of celebrity Tottenham fans

Perhaps Cailee Spaeny’s inclusion is a little tenuous on this list, but the star of Priscilla, Alien: Romulus and Civil War was at Tottenham’s Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund last season, kitted out in club gear.

While Spaeny has not exactly spoken publicly about her allegiances, Tottenham fans adopting one of Hollywood’s fastest rising young stars is no bad thing. We’ll have to see if she makes a return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in future.

9) Himesh Patel has family ties to Tottenham

From Eastenders to The Odyssey, Himesh Patel’s career has skyrocketed after his beginnings as Tamwar Masood in Walford and through it all he’s been backing Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite having to jet set all around the world to film, Patel has said that owed to the club having fans all over the world, it means the chances of finding a Tottenham game are pretty high. Attending a game in 2020, Patel told the club’s official website: “I don’t live far. I see the stadium a lot and I love coming here, and I hope I’m coming for many, many years. The atmosphere is unbeatable, really something else.”

Patel’s path to becoming a Spurs fan was similar to Jude Law. His dad was a supporter of the club, having been taken to games at White Hart Lane with a friend after moving to the UK and catching the bug. “Obviously, he passed it on, although not forcefully! I had to kind of do it myself. Eventually I just said, ‘dad, I’ll support the same team as you, okay?’”

10) Roy Keane was a boyhood Tottenham supporter

That’s right. Former Manchester United captain turned popular pundit, Roy Keane, is a Tottenham fan.

The “good Irish connection” when he was growing up was a factor in his kinship with the Lilywhites, with the fact his friend’s dad who he regularly got lifts with was a Tottenham fan also helping strengthen that bond.

“Hoddle, Clive Allen, I followed Spurs, all these players… I’ve had a soft spot for Spurs, always have,” he’s previously said.

11) AJ Tracey, live and direct in N17

British rapper, AJ Tracey is a London-born, lifelong follower of Spurs. From his very first moments on this earth, it was decided he’d be a Tottenham fan with his dad putting him in a Spurs kit. “It’s been my team forever,” he’s previously said.

Looking at his own personal trajectory and the club’s, Tracey said he feels like “we’ve risen together” with him able to keep up with the club as he’s catapulted himself to stardom. Despite being busy, with critically acclaimed albums, Tracey still found the time to do his bit for Tottenham’s transfer dealings in recent times too, sliding into Giovanni Lo Celso’s DMs to try and convince him to sign for the club – which he obviously ended up doing.
