Alasdair Gold has revealed whether Ange Postecoglou still has a chance of keeping his Tottenham job as Daniel Levy and the Spurs hierarchy contemplate what to do after the club’s historic Europa League success.
As the jubilation of the Europa League win starts to wear off, the focus has shifted to Tottenham’s managerial role over the last 48 hours.
According to various reports, Daniel Levy has still not decided whether he wants to keep Postecoglou, given the season of extremes that the club have had.
The Tottenham boss has made his case to the media and the Spurs chairman, with Postecoglou insisting that he is the man to help Tottenham push on and compete for silverware regularly in his final press conference on the season on Sunday.

When will Ange Postecoglou find out about Tottenham future?
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has said that Levy’s decision on the Tottenham Hotspur managerial role is unlikely to be made this week.
Postecoglou and his coaching staff have now headed on their post-season holidays, and no meetings were understood to have taken place between the Australian and the club’s hierarchy.
Interestingly, Gold says that there remains a chance that the 59-year-old could stay in place for the start of next season after ending the club’s trophy drought.
The journalist points out that there is a huge surge of gratitude from Spurs fans for Postecoglou after the club’s Europa League heroics and suggests that Levy will be mindful of the backlash from the supporters if he now sacks the Aussie coach.
What Postecoglou and the Spurs players expect to happen
Interestingly, some sources have claimed over recent days that despite the Tottenham boss’ bullish public statements, he does not expect to still be in charge at the start of next season.
It was claimed by The Independent’s Miguel Delaney that Postecoglou believes he only has a 5 per cent chance of keeping his job.
Meanwhile, it was also revealed by The Daily Mail a few days ago that the Spurs squad expect Postecoglou to lose his job after the disastrous domestic campaign the club have had.
