Many pundits expect Tottenham’s search for their first Premier League win to continue beyond Saturday’s game at home to Everton.
There was a massive feeling of excitement among Spurs fans coming into the campaign, but some of that optimism has dissipated after the reality check their side has received in the first few weeks of the campaign.
The fan base is certainly not panicking just yet, with most supporters realising that it will take time for the team to gel when such wholesale changes are made to the squad.
However, no goals and a single point in the first three matches is not encouraging, and Tottenham fans will want to see De Zerbi’s men put on a better show against Everton tomorrow.

However, his fellow pundit, Darren Fletcher, disagrees, backing the Merseysiders to hold the Lilywhites to a 1-1 draw.

In his pre-match press conference, De Zerbi confirmed that James Maddison is available for the Everton clash after missing the club’s last two league games.
The 29-year-old’s return could help solve one of Tottenham’s biggest issues in their first three games.
