Tottenham Hotspur are working to secure Antonin Kinsky’s future, with talks underway over a new contract for the young goalkeeper.

Tottenham Hotspur have already strengthened defensively this summer with the signings of Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke and Andy Robertson.

Pedro Porro has also been tied down to a new deal until 2030 following interest from Manchester City and Real Madrid, while Spurs added Martin Dubravka on a free transfer after his spell at Burnley.

Dubravka became Tottenham’s fourth signing of the window and will officially join on 1 July after agreeing a pre-contract.

Antonin Kinsky could be Tottenham’s new number one

Despite Dubravka’s arrival, Tottenham continue to focus on their goalkeeping department.

Reports suggest Guglielmo Vicario could be moved on amid interest from Italy, with Antonin Kinsky set to become the first choice after impressing at the end of last season.

According to The Athletic, Spurs have now opened talks with Kinsky over a new contract, aiming to reward his rise in importance and secure his long-term future.

The Czech international missed the World Cup due to surgery but is expected to be fit for pre-season ahead of the 2026–27 campaign.

It is explained that Spurs are hoping to improve Kinsky’s current contract, with a deal that recognises his importance to the club and his new status as their number-one goalkeeper.

Antonin Kinsky’s rise to number one at Spurs

Kinsky featured in all seven of Tottenham’s final Premier League matches last season, conceding just seven goals in that run as Roberto De Zerbi’s side battled to stay up.

Supporters will remember his two crucial saves against Leeds that earned Spurs a vital point in their survival push.

The 23-year-old’s resilience and determination are now set to be rewarded, despite a difficult spell earlier in the campaign when errors against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 raised doubts about his readiness.
