Tottenham Hotspur have now completed their fourth summer signing of the transfer window in what has already been a busy few weeks for the North Londoners
The free-agent market has proven to be a good shopping ground for Tottenham Hotspur so far this transfer window.
Two really good signings have been made by Spurs without spending a single penny, with Marcos Senesi, Bournemouth’s Player of the Season last campaign, moving to north London, while experienced Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson also made a similar move.
Since the completion of those two signings, alongside Jan Paul van Hecke, who Spurs purchased for £51m, Spurs Web reported that another free agent could be through the door in north London.

Tottenham complete Martin Dubravka transfer
On Tuesday, it was stated that Tottenham were eyeing a backup goalkeeper, and a three-man shortlist was drawn up.
Among those on Spurs’ radar were Jason Steele, Karl Darlow, and Martin Dubravka, with the latter said to be the club’s top choice.
Things have developed rather quickly since that report, with Tottenham now confirming the signing of Dubravka on a free transfer.
The 37-year-old featured in the Premier League last campaign with relegated Burnley and managed 35 appearances.
Dubravka’s contract is set to expire at the end of the month, and following its expiration, he will join Spurs on July 1.
He now comes through the door as Tottenham’s fourth signing of the summer as Roberto De Zerbi and his men embark on a major rebuild.
Spurs goalkeeper plans become clearer after Martin Dubravka arrival
Dubravka’s arrival could signal changes in Tottenham’s goalkeeping ranks. Reports suggest Guglielmo Vicario may be on his way out, with interest from Italy still strong, as Fabrizio Romano noted earlier today.
That would pave the way for Antonin Kinsky to step up as first choice, with Dubravka serving as his experienced backup.
Speaking after completing his move to Tottenham, Dubravka explained why he was keen to join the club and work under Roberto De Zerbi, while also sharing his excitement about the challenge ahead.
He said: “It’s an exciting time for me, a new journey and new experience for me and my family. I’m looking forward to it.
“Everything moved pretty quickly and I’m really happy to be here. I’ve loved watching Roberto’s teams over the years and know all about his style, vision and the fantastic fans here.
“Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get started.”
