Arsenal’s English duo, who will be sharing a dressing room with Djed Spence at the World Cup this summer, have hit back at the Tottenham man after his most recent social media post.
Spurs fans will be glad that Arsenal lost the Champions League finals on penalties, but they still had to go through the pain of watching their rivals parade the Premier League trophy around the streets of North London.
After the Gunners lost in Budapest in heartbreaking fashion, Spence took to social media to take a shot at Arsenal.
The 25-year-old was responding to a jibe from the Gunners’ social media account directed at him following the North London derby back in February.

Noni Madueke and Declan Rice hit back at Tottenham’s Djed Spence
The Tottenham man’s reaction on social media has not gone down well with two of his England teammates.
Noni Madueke responded by pointing out that Arsenal were Premier League champions while others were “tweeting and posting”, in a jibe clearly directed at the likes of Spence, Richarlison, Erling Haaland, and others who mocked the Gunners online.
The Arsenal winger wrote on his Instagram: “Champions! Whilst others are tweeting and posting. Thank you, God. The glory is yours!”
Declan Rice also got in the act, commenting on Madueke’s post with: “Jealousy everywhere”, followed by four laughing emojis.
Why Spence may regret his post
It was probably not the smartest idea to have a pop at your rivals when they have just won the Premier League title, and you have just avoided relegation by the skin of your teeth.
As much as all Spurs fans enjoyed Arsenal losing in the fashion they did against PSG, the reality is that Arsenal fans have the bragging rights for now, and we have no choice but to take our medicine.
Spence may himself look back on this post and regret it, and one wonders if things will get a little awkward in the England dressing room between the Tottenham man and the Arsenal contingent.
