Tottenham Hotspur will be paying close attention to the latest developments regarding Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United.
Rashford has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham since the start of the summer after it became clear that Barcelona will not be signing the forward permanently.
Some sources have even claimed Spurs are willing to match the forward’s current £325,000-a-week salary, but the Lilywhites face one major roadblock in doing a deal.
According to reports, Man United are not keen on selling Rashford to Tottenham or any other Premier League rival, and have instead prioritised solutions abroad.

The Sun have revealed that the 28-year-old has now reported for pre-season training at Man United, having arrived at Carrington training complex early on Sunday morning.
Rashford then flew out to Dublin yesterday with his teammates to be part of the club’s pre-season programme, with the club set to take on Leeds United at Croke Park on Wednesday.
The report claims that the England star is committed to making a fist of it back at his boyhood club after a few turbulent years.
Even though Rashford has not played a competitive game for United since 2024, he is now willing to attempt to force himself into the plans of Michael Carrick, who was United’s captain when the forward made his debut.
Could Spurs be alive to a late Rashford opportunity?
Based on reports over the last few days, it appears that Tottenham are prioritising deals for Savinho and Cody Gakpo in the final three weeks of the window.
Many reports have continued to suggest that Liverpool simply have no plans to sell Gakpo, as the Reds are keen on building a deep squad which can challenge on all fronts.
It will thus be interesting to see if Spurs are alive to a late opportunity to swoop for Rashford, in case they are unable to strike a deal with the Merseyside club for the Dutchman.
