Tottenham Hotspur have found out what Manchester United think about doing a deal with them for Marcus Rashford following a big update on the England star’s future.

Regular readers of Spurs Web will be aware that Tottenham have been described as the most concrete suitor for Rashford this summer by some sources.

In fact, it has been alleged that Spurs are willing to match the forward’s bumper Man United salary to attract him to North London ahead of the new season.

However, despite the Red Devils’ keenness to offload Rashford, a deal to take the player to Roberto De Zerbi’s side is far from being a reality at the moment.

Tottenham target Marcus Rashford is likely to stay at Man United

I news has now claimed that even though the forward has attracted plenty of interest this summer, he is most likely to get a chance to resurrect his Man United career next season.

This is because the most appealing exit options for Rashford have failed to materialise this summer.

The report claims that the England forward bears no ill-will towards his boyhood club and that he now has an ‘ally’ in charge in Michael Carrick.

A source from United told the website that he would be ‘very surprised’ if Rashford seals an exit from Old Trafford this summer.

Man United do not want to sell Rashford to Spurs

I News say that the 28-year-old’s big wages are the main reason he has not secured a permanent move, with most of his suitors unwilling to match his current salary.

While Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal have been keeping tabs on Rashford, United officials are reluctant to sell the player to another English club.

The report concludes that a loan move away from Old Trafford is the only realistic option for the striker this summer, with United expecting suitors to return with loan offers later in the window.
