‘Bump in the road’ – Tottenham man reacts after picking up injury

Pedro Porro has insisted that he is working hard to be back as soon as possible after it emerged that the right-back had picked up a muscle injury during the week.

Porro is one of just a few regular starters who has gone injury-free the whole season for the Lilywhites, with the club having had to endure multiple injury crises over the last few months.

It emerged earlier this week that the Spaniard had now succumbed to a muscle injury, although some reports indicate that the problem is not serious and the right-back could be back for the Premier League match against Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on March 2 (Charlie Eccleshare).

Ange Postecoglou confirmed in his press conference on Friday that the 24-year-old looks set to spend couple of weeks on the sidelines, revealing that he had picked up a muscular strain during training (Football.London).

Tottenham struggled against Wolves in Pedro Porro’s absence

The former Sporting Lisbon man has now taken to social media to assure fans that he is determined to return to action soon.

Porro seems like a fit lad and a relatively quick healer. There is every chance that he will be back for the Crystal Palace clash given the fact that Tottenham now have a fortnight before their next match due to the international break and the postponement of the Chelsea fixture due to their involvement in the Carabao Cup final.

Porro’s absence along with Udogie’s was clear to see in Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Wolves yesterday with Ben Davies and Emerson Royal unable to impact the game in the same manner, especially in the attacking third of the pitch.
