Pedro Porro has sent a message to Tottenham Hotspur fans after being forced off with an injury in the club’s 3-2 loss to Aston Villa.
Porro, who missed the Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool last week due to injury, came back into the starting eleven against Villa, but only lasted 19 minutes.
The Spain international went down unchallenged and had to be replaced by Archie Gray, and he appeared extremely frustrated with his predicament.
We are still waiting for confirmation on the severity and nature of his injury, but Roberto De Zerbi admitted that Porro could have a problem in his hamstring.

Pedro Porro tells Tottenham fans that he will come back stronger from setback
Unsurprisingly, the 27-year-old Spurs man has pulled out of the Spain squad for their upcoming Nations League qualifiers.
Porro has now taken to social media to react to his injury setback, admitting that it is now time for him to ‘stop and take a breath’ after what has been a rollercoaster few months.
The Tottenham defender made it clear that he is extremely motivated to bounce back and come back even stronger.
Porro wrote on Instagram: “Sometimes you have to stop, take a breath and start again. Now it’s time to recover and trust the process. I’ll come back stronger, hungrier and more motivated than ever. This is just another obstacle on the road. See you soon.”
Why the wording of Porro’s post should worry Spurs fans
The one thing that is clear from the wording of the right-back’s post is that he expects to be out for an extended period, not just a couple of weeks.
If Porro does face several months on the sidelines, it will come as a major blow to Spurs, especially given that the club did not replace Djed Spence with another natural right-back in the summer.
Archie Gray is thus set to play a big role over the coming months, and De Zerbi needs the youngster to step up and show his quality.
