Pedro Porro was forced off in the 19th minute of Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-2 loss to Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Spain international came into the team for just his third start of the season after missing the Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool in midweek with an injury.
However, Porro only lasted 19 minutes, with the right-back going down unchallenged and being forced to make way for Archie Gray.
The 27-year-old has been one of the few Spurs players not to suffer major injuries over the last two years, and Tottenham fans will be hoping it is not a serious issue.

Roberto De Zerbi suggests Tottenham star Pedro Porro may have felt his hamstring
The former Sporting Lisbon man was extremely frustrated when he went down, banging the turf in anger.
Porro has withdrawn from the Spain squad for the Nations League, and will thus have three weeks to recover before Spurs are in action again.
De Zerbi suggested that the right-back suffered a hamstring problem, but hopeful that the injury is not too serious.
When asked about Porro, the Italian told Spurs Play: “Listen, Pedro, I said after the World Cup, I said the management of Pedro should be different, because after the World Cup, many games. I don’t know what the problem is. It’s a hamstring, I think. Hopefully, it’s not a big problem.”
Why Porro’s injury could be a major setback for Spurs
The defender reported late for pre-season training after being part of Spain’s World Cup campaign, and he is still building his way to full fitness.
Porro’s body language after his injury was not promising, but the only silver lining is that it happened just before an extended international break.
The Spaniard is one of the few Tottenham players capable of finding the forwards’ runs with through balls, and his absence will dent De Zerbi’s men as an attacking force.
