Tottenham insiders continue to maintain that Eli Junior Kroupi remains Spurs’ top striker target, despite Bournemouth’s insistence that the forward is not for sale.
However, the Lilywhites are expected to face intense competition for the 19-year-old from several top clubs across Europe, including Barcelona.
Over the last few days, Spurs Web has relayed reports suggesting that Barca have turned their attention to the Cherries star as Atletico Madrid are refusing to even come to the negotiating table for their top target, Julian Alvarez.

El Partidazo de COPE reporter Helena Condis Edo has now shed light on what the teenager thinks about a move to Catalonia.
She says that Kroupi is keen on signing for Hansi Flick’s side, and is dreaming of becoming a Barcelona player ahead of the new season.
Edo wrote on X: “Junior Kroupi, Bournemouth’s forward, wants to sign with Barça. It’s his dream; he’s absolutely thrilled about the possibility. We’ll see how the situation develops.”
Fabrizio Romano says Barcelona are not advancing on Kroupi deal
However, Fabrizio Romano has taken to social media to reveal that Barca have decided not to advance negotiations on a deal for the France U21 international.
They made this decision after Bournemouth informed them that they have no intention to part ways with Kroupi this summer.
Romano wrote on X: “Barcelona are not proceeding in talks to sign Eli Junior Kroupi at this stage. Understand Barça will not advance on this option at present + Bournemouth informed clubs about clear stance, no intention to sell this summer.”
