Iliman Ndiaye would have only a small selection of squad numbers to choose from if he completes a move to Tottenham this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on their ninth signing of the summer transfer window with fewer than 72 hours left before the transfer market slams shut.
It is understood Spurs have reached a deal with Everton for Iliman Ndiaye as they look to bolster their attack further despite signing Omar Marmoush and Savio last week.
A deal is not yet confirmed, as Spurs still have to reach personal terms with the Senegal international. But with a move not too far from being completed, we have now decided to take a look at the shirt numbers that could be available to the Everton man.
Shirt numbers available to Iliman Ndiaye at Tottenham
At Tottenham, of the first 30 squad numbers, only 1, 2, 12, 24, 26 and 27 are available at the moment for Ndiaye.
Savio, who joined last week, snapped up the number 17 shirt, while Omar Marmoush took the number 23 shirt, leaving the Senegal international with fewer number choices.
So far in his career, Ndiaye has had a host of numbers, with 10 currently his shirt number at Everton.
However, that is not available at Spurs, with James Maddison currently custodian of the number. Ndiaye, though, has used 29, 34 and 25 in the past, and he could take one of those numbers.
Richarlison and Pape Sarr could open up more options
There could be a few other numbers set to become vacant at Tottenham. Richarlison could be heading to Everton this summer and, should he depart, the number nine is expected to become vacant.
Pape Sarr currently wears the number 29, but he is one of three players De Zerbi revealed have asked to leave Tottenham this summer.
Danso is also on that list and, should he leave, number four is expected to become vacant, although it is very unlikely Ndiaye uses the number four shirt.
Solanke is Spurs’ number 19, and he could move to the nine if that shirt number becomes available next season, while Ndiaye could have 19 as another future option.
