Spanish journalist, Guillem Balague has confidently asserted that there is no chance Sergio Ramos will move to Tottenham Hotspur given his strained relationship with Jose Mourinho.
90min.com reported last month that Tottenham have reached out to the defender’s representatives over a potential move in January.
The Evening Standard claimed this week that Ramos is one of two options Spurs have their eye on as Mourinho aims to bolster his options in central defence.
The legendry defender has just six months left on his contract with Real Madrid, with Los Blancos yet to offer him a new deal.
Some Spurs fans on social media have reacted rather sceptically to suggestions that Ramos could be North London bound.
There were reports in the Spanish press during Mourinho’s time at the Santiago Bernabeu that he and Ramos had some fierce arguments.
Balague believes that the pair have not mended their relationship and asserted that the 34-year-old will not come to Tottenham as a result.
Erm… You all remember how it all finished between Mourinho and Sergio Ramos, no? That's one that will not happen for sure https://t.co/16fxpC8cKA

Spurs Web Opinion
It is anybody’s guess whether Ramos and Mourinho have mended their relationship in the last seven or eight years or if there is still bad blood between the pair. Either way, I fully expect Ramos to put pen to paper on a new contract at Real Madrid sooner rather than later.
