Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Sarr has become the subject of heavy transfer interest in the final days of the window.
Sarr reportedly informed Roberto De Zerbi that he wants to leave Tottenham after being left out of Tottenham’s matchday squad against Brentford last week.
That did not come as a surprise, with the 23-year-old being identified by many as the likely midfielder to be sacrificed this summer following the arrivals of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes to Hotspur Way.
It emerged a couple of days ago that Monaco are exploring a move for Sarr, but they have now joined the race by three English clubs.

The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath has now revealed that Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have both launched enquiries for the 23-year-old.
He adds that Brentford are also fans of the youngster, while Monaco remain in the race as the September 1 transfer deadline draws closer.
McGrath wrote on X: “Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have made enquiries over Pape Matar Sarr. Brentford are admirers but Monaco still very much there for the Spurs midfielder.”
The journalist also backs up what we have heard from other sources – Tottenham rate the Senegal international at around £35m this summer.

Some sources have reported over the last few days that Galatasaray are extremely keen on taking Sarr to Turkey.
Additionally, Aston Villa are also thought to be fans of the Senegal international, while it has emerged that Saudi club Al Ahli are keeping an eye on the Tottenham man.
The race for the former Metz man’s signature thus appears wide open as we enter the final days of the window.
