Tottenham Hotspur are willing to sanction the exit of a youngster who did not start a single one of the club’s seven league games under Roberto De Zerbi last season.

Tottenham will not stand in Pape Sarr’s way as interest grows
Journalist Ben Jacobs has now suggested that a move to Villa may not be on the cards for the Senegal international, as Joao Palhinha is their primary target.
However, he added that Sarr is not short of suitors, with Al Ahli enquiring about the youngster, while Brentford and several Bundesliga clubs have also expressed interest.
The journalist revealed that the 23-year-old is listening to offers and that Spurs will not stand in his way if he wants to depart.
Jacobs said on The Last Word on Spurs: “There is interest and not unsellable. He (Pape Matar Sarr) might be a victim with Bentancur in this midfield rebuild
“Sarr is open to offers; Villa are linked, but they want Palhinha. Brentford and German clubs are interested. Also, Al-Ahli have made an enquiry too; if the player wants a move, Tottenham won’t stand in his way.”
Spurs could sign another central midfielder
Sarr is not the only Spurs midfielder linked with a late exit, with reports indicating that Lucas Bergvall’s future at Tottenham remains uncertain, as fresh bids are expected to arrive for the Swede.
Tottenham insider Szyexcel has said that Spurs could add another central midfielder to their squad if both Sarr and Bergvall depart the club.
There is thus still room for plenty of drama at Tottenham during the final two weeks of the transfer window.
