Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has delivered an encouraging Dejan Kulusevski update ahead of the international break.
Tottenham Hotspur’s fitness struggles have been up and down this season, with the number of injured players once dropping to three.
Last weekend, that number went back up to six as Pedro Porro, Destiny Udogie and Sandro Tonali all picked up knocks.
However, Roberto De Zerbi has since provided an injury update, declaring each of these stars fit and ready to play this weekend.

Roberto De Zerbi provides positive Dejan Kulusevski update for Tottenham
But that is not the only positive fitness update for Tottenham, with De Zerbi also providing an update on Dejan Kulusevski.
Spurs Web revealed earlier today that the Swede was back training with his teammates, which is a big positive given how long he has been out for – almost two years.
Kulusevski, of course, had returned to training earlier back in August, but had encountered a few setbacks since his return.
De Zerbi has now opened up on the fitness of the midfielder. Speaking to football.london, he said: “We have to manage Deki in the best way we can, but this is a great thing for us because he is a good player and a good guy.
“He deserves to play again and we have to work day by day and also for Deki it is important the national break because when he is at top condition and over the injury, he will be like another new signing.”
Spurs must be patient with Kulusevski’s return
Of course, Tottenham will not want to rush Kulusevski back as he continues his rehabilitation in order to avoid any more setbacks.
The focus now will be on getting the Swede back up to speed and improving his match fitness.
At the moment, there is no timeline for when Kulusevski is set to return, but one would expect the Swede to be involved in a few behind‑closed‑doors games before he plays with the first team.
There had been talks of Kulusevski potentially representing Sweden during this break, but that is very unlikely given the midfielder’s current fitness status.
