Just days after Tottenham reached an agreement with Manchester City over Savinho, Spurs have now secured another attacker from the Etihad Stadium.
Until last week, many Spurs fans were extremely worried that the attack had not been strengthened yet despite the club’s spending spree earlier in the window.
However, Tottenham are about to add plenty of firepower to their attack in one swoop just one game into the new Premier League campaign.
Spurs struck a full agreement with Man City over Savinho on Friday evening, and it has now been confirmed that another forward is set to swap the Etihad Stadium for N17.

Fabrizio Romano gives ‘here we go’ for Omar Marmoush’s move to Tottenham
Fabrizio Romano has now given his ‘here we go’ seal of approval to Omar Marmoush’s proposed move to Spurs.
The 27-year-old has struggled for regular game time at City since signing for the club 18 months ago, and he will get a chance to lead the line for Roberto De Zerbi’s side ahead of the new season.
Romano wrote on X: ‘BREAKING: Tottenham reach verbal agreement with Man City to sign Omar Marmoush, here we go! Verbal agreement done on initial loan with buy clause to become mandatory under certain conditions at £50m. Marmoush said yes to THFC days ago, travel and medical on Monday.’
Spurs want to make one more addition to their attack
Marmoush will likely become the eighth player to arrive through the door at Hotspur Way this summer, following Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali and Savinho.
However, the Lilywhites are not yet done adding to their squad as we enter the final 10 days of the transfer window.
According to various sources, Tottenham are also attempting to poach Cody Gakpo from Liverpool before the September 1 deadline, which would give them a completely new-look front three.
