Tottenham Hotspur’s squad rebuild has brought an influx of new stars on big contracts, but how long has each player got left in N17?
Tottenham Hotspur have certainly given Roberto De Zerbi the tools to build the ‘new Tottenham team’ he spoke about before the summer transfer window, with the club spending close to £400m on 10 new arrivals during a record-breaking summer of business.
A huge chunk of that spending has been offset by the 19 players who have departed the club, bringing in around £264m in transfer income.
Spurs have also moved to secure the futures of several players already at the club, handing new contracts to the likes of Micky Van de Ven, Ben Davies, Pedro Porro and Antonin Kinsky.
With the summer window now closed and the squad taking shape, now is a good time to look at exactly how long each Tottenham player is contracted to remain at the club.

Tottenham Hotspur’s strange contract policy
One very unusual change we have seen from Tottenham of late is that they no longer reveal or publicise contract lengths when announcing new signings or extensions in their official statements.
Normally, the club’s own announcements would be the obvious place to start when putting together a piece like this, but since they have stopped including those details, the information has to be pieced together from other sources instead.
There also does not appear to be any obvious reason for the change. As Football.London’s Alasdair Gold put it:
“I was trying to wonder like not giving contract lengths is that giving like a little bit of secrecy that so that clubs coming in might not take advantage of thinking a player hasn’t got a lot of time left on the contract.
“But then I was thinking about it. It’s like they will first go through the agent and the agent will go, ‘Yeah, they got 12 months left.’ That’s it. It’s like there is no secrecy. There is no I don’t understand the logic behind going into this new let’s not announce how long contracts are. I don’t get it. I don’t understand.”
