Tottenham have been ranked among the top two most expensive season tickets in the Premier League at the start of the new campaign.
The Premier League returned this weekend with Tottenham Hotspur kicking off their 26-27 season with a woeful 3-0 defeat to Brentford.

This marks the Lilywhites’ 35th season in the English top flight, having never tasted relegation since the Premier League began in 1992.
Spurs will now be looking to improve on their dismal showing from last season, when they finished in 17th place – a campaign that left supporters with little to celebrate.
How Tottenham season ticket prices compare with England’s other clubs
A report from SeatPick has now revealed an estimate of how much Tottenham fans spend on season tickets each season.
According to their findings, the average Premier League season ticket takes 17.49% of average net monthly pay, or 3.80 days of work, the most of the top five leagues.
And while Newcastle United asks the least in England at 10.59% of average net monthly pay, or 2.30 days of work, Tottenham’s demands are way more than the Magpies’.
According to data from SeatPick, a Spurs season ticket currently takes up 23.86% of average net monthly pay or 5.19 days of work, making their prices the second most expensive in the Premier League.
In fact, a season ticket at Tottenham is priced at £856, with only Arsenal demanding more from their fans at £978.

With such enormous ticket prices, the least Tottenham can do is stay competitive in the Premier League, which will allow fans to gain value for their money.
Spurs have been tipped by several pundits to make a marked improvement this campaign, with many predicting Tottenham to finish in the European places.
However, with other leagues charging fans far less for season tickets, it raises fair questions about why Premier League clubs are asking supporters to pay so much more.
