Kevin Danso has proven he understands what it means to be a Tottenham Hotspur player after receiving a request from an Arsenal fan.
Danso was one of 10 Tottenham players who made it to the knockout stages of the World Cup, with Austria finishing second in Group J behind Argentina.
However, they were stopped by Pedro Porro’s Spain, who brushed them aside 3-0 in the round of 32 stage on their way to the semifinals of the tournament.
A video has now emerged of the Tottenham Hotspur centre-back’s time in North America, where he received an ‘impossible’ request from an Arsenal fan.

Video: Tottenham star Kevin Danso refuses to sign Arsenal shirt
The 27-year-old was signing autographs for his fans, presumably after a training session with Austria, when he ran into an Arsenal fan.
The fan in question requested that Danso sign an Arsenal shirt, which the Tottenham defender refused to do instantly.
As soon as he caught a glimpse of the Gunners jersey, the Spurs star produced a wry smile and said: “Impossible, sorry. Any other shirt I’ll sign.”

Danso has shown that he is a true club man
The Austrian international may have only been at Tottenham for 18 months, but he has already become a very popular figure among the fan base.
That is partly due to the fact that he never complains when left out of the team, and has always left everything out on the pitch when called upon.
Danso played a key part in keeping Tottenham in the Premier League following Cristian Romero’s injury last season, with De Zerbi praising the Spurs defender’s personality and his attributes as a player.
