Tottenham Hotspur fans have offered mixed reactions to Luka Vuskovic’s departure from north London following his move to Brighton and Hove Albion.
Luka Vuskovic has now completed his big-money move to Brighton & Hove Albion during this summer’s transfer window.
The £50 million transfer means Vuskovic’s departure now ranks as the third-biggest sale in Tottenham Hotspur’s history.
Tottenham have, however, retained a 20 per cent sell-on clause and matching rights as part of the agreement, which could enable Spurs to profit from any future sale and even potentially bring Vušković back to north London.

Tottenham fans react to Luka Vuskovic’s Brighton move
With the transfer now officially confirmed, Tottenham supporters have taken to social media to share their reactions.
Many Spurs fans are far from pleased to see such a highly-rated youngster leave after he originally signed for the club in 2023.
Reacting to the news, one fan said: “We will be there to boo every tackle, every touch, every pass.”
Another added: “The hatewatch is about to be insane for him.”
A third supporter commented: “Part of me feels we will regret this. Yes, he is full of himself, but many youngsters are. I just hope we have a buy back and sell clauses for him because he will make it big.”
One other fan wished him well, writing: “Shame we didn’t get to see you play for us xx good luck 🤞💙 glad it was Brighton xxx 💙💙💙💪.”
Another supporter then added: “Never played a professional game for us. He couldn’t wait to leave. See ya 👋.”
Spurs could still benefit from Luka Vuskovic’s departure
It is easy to understand the frustration of Tottenham supporters, who would surely have loved to see Vuskovic wear the club’s shirt for much longer.
However, given the structure of the deal, Spurs have still secured an excellent piece of business, making a significant profit after signing him for £12 million in 2023.
All eyes will now be on Vuskovic and how he fares in the Premier League with Brighton.
Further attention will also fall on the reunion between the two clubs, with Roberto De Zerbi set to face his former side while Vuskovic comes up against Spurs for the first time.
As things stand, that reunion is scheduled for 30 December 2026, when Tottenham Hotspur host Brighton & Hove Albion.
