There has been a big update on Luka Vuskovic’s fitness at Tottenham after the Hamburg defender sat out the last three matches.
Spurs Web has covered the struggles Hamburg have had in the absence of Vuskovic over recent weeks, with the Bundesliga side losing all of their last three matches without the 19-year-old at the heart of their defence.
Unsurprisingly, Hamburg are desperate for the centre-back to return as they, much like Spurs, are still not assured of their place in the top-flight next season.
The German club remain positive that Vuskovic will play a part for them before the end of the campaign, and there has now been a promising update regarding the Croat.
While Tottenham want to keep hold of Vuskovic this summer, it is said that conversations could take place if they receive offers of £50m-£60m.

Tottenham youngster Luka Vuskovic set to return to training
Contrary to the updates we have heard from Germany over the past couple of weeks, Wednesday’s edition of Sportske Novosti (as relayed by Sport Witness) suggests that Vuskovic’s knee injury was never a serious one.
The report claims the defender took advantage of the break to recover from the setback and reset himself. They claim to have heard from sources that Vuskovic is ‘now healthy’ and has ‘just finished his recovery’.
The 19-year-old was out on the training pitch both Tuesday and Wednesday but trained alone. It is revealed that the youngster was expected to join his teammates for training on Thursday, but there is no confirmation as to whether he did so.
Will Spurs give a green light for Vuskovic to face Eintracht Frankfurt?
Hamburg travel to Eintracht Frankfurt tomorrow, and Merlin Polzin may be tempted to throw the centre-back into the team if he comes through training unscathed.
The Lilywhites would thus have to greenlight the centre-back’s inclusion in the big clash, which they may be hesitant to do unless they are convinced that he is at 100 per cent.
