Tottenham midfielder, Jamie Donley, who was heavily involved in the club’s pre-season, is about to complete his fourth loan move away from Hotspur Way.

With just days left until the transfer window slams shut, Spurs are working to make finishing touches to their first-team squad.

The Lilywhites are also working on finding the right loan moves for several of their academy youngsters.

It emerged a few days ago that one Spurs midfielder was attracting interest from several Championship and League One clubs, and he is now about to join a club which was in the Premier League just two years ago.

Jamie Donley in advanced talks over swapping Tottenham for Luton Town

Spurs insider John Wenham has revealed that Jamie Donley is now getting closer to sealing a season-long loan move to Luton Town.

Luton were in the Premier League in the 2023-24 season, but they subsequently suffered back-to-back relegations and are currently in League One.

Wenham wrote on his social media platform, the Lilywhite Rose: “Understand Jamie Donley (21) is in advanced talks to join Luton Town on a season-long loan deal. Jamie is heading to Luton to complete his medical this morning. Best of luck, Jamie.”

Alasdair Gold has also backed up these claims, stating that Donley is set to join Luton on a straight loan with no buy option.

Player who scored for Spurs on Wednesday is also expected to leave on loan

Mikey Moore is expected to complete a loan move to FC Koln before the transfer window slams shut.

The youngster impressed in Tottenham’s 5-1 win over Charlton, opening the scoring for the Lilywhites with a powerful strike with his left foot, which was just his second goal for the club.

De Zerbi admitted that while he would prefer to keep Moore at the club, a loan would be best for his development, with the 18-year-old needing regular game time this season.
